Ars æqui and the 1st Doctoral Conference in Law

Ars æqui is pleased to support the 1st Doctoral Conference in Law, organised by the Doctoral School of Law at the Ovidius University of Constanța in collaboration with the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences and with the support of the F.D.S.A. Ovidius Alumni Association.

The conference, entitled Integration of Digitalisation into Legal Relationships. Challenges, Controversies, Solutions, will take place on 29 May 2026 in hybrid format at Ovidius University of Constanța (Amphitheatre 103, Campus A) and online via Microsoft Teams.

The event brings together doctoral researchers from several Romanian universities to examine the legal implications of digitalisation across multiple branches of law. The scientific programme includes panels dedicated to private law, labour law, European and international law, public law, and criminal sciences in the context of contemporary technological transformation.

The conference addresses a broad range of topics, including artificial intelligence and judicial decision-making, data protection and privacy, digital labour relations, cryptocurrencies, competition law, online children’s rights, digital evidence, e-governance, and emerging issues related to legal regulation in the digital era.

As publishing partner of the conference, Ars æqui will consider selected papers presented during the event for possible publication in a special section of the journal, subject to peer-review and editorial evaluation in accordance with the journal’s publication standards.
